So is my approach.
I’m Daniel, a Sacramento native, finance graduate from Sacramento State, and QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor.
I grew up with a contractor dad and now support my wife’s photography business. I’ve seen the care it takes to build something of your own—and how easily the bookkeeping can compete for your time.
My job is to keep your books accurate and help you understand the numbers when you have questions. You’ll work directly with me. Outside of bookkeeping, you’ll find me at the gym or traveling with my wife.

What’s included in monthly bookkeeping?+
Monthly bookkeeping includes categorizing transactions, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, financial statements, and email support for bookkeeping questions. We’ll agree on the accounts, transaction volume, and any additional services in your proposal.
Do I need to use QuickBooks Online?+
Marfins Bookkeeping uses QuickBooks Online. If you’re using another system or haven’t set up your books yet, include that in your inquiry so we can talk through the next steps.
What if my books are months behind?+
That’s where bookkeeping cleanup comes in. I’ll review what needs to be brought up to date and provide a separate quote before starting. Cleanup is not included in the monthly plan price.
How is my monthly price determined?+
The published ranges depend on your business needs, including transaction volume, complexity, and the support you need. After learning about your business, I’ll provide a customized scope and quote.
Will I work directly with you?+
Yes. You’ll work directly with Daniel and can ask bookkeeping questions by email as part of your monthly service.
Is this also a tax preparation service?+
The services described here focus on bookkeeping and financial reporting. Tax preparation is not included in these plans. Let me know if you work with a tax preparer so we can discuss the records they need.
